Part of becoming a world class resort is projecting that image day in and day out throughout the year. All of us are professionals at what we do,
and in order to be considered a professional, we must project that image. In order to give all employees clear understanding on what is expected KHMR
has developed certain grooming guidelines. These guidelines need to be met PRIOR to a job offer being made:
- Hair must be neat and tidy at all times. Radical hairstyles are not permitted, this includes radical cuts or colours. Dreadlocks are not permitted at any time. There may be certain safety and legal requirements for certain positions that take precedent over any guidelines that have been set out.
- You must be clean shaven every day. Mustaches, beards and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed. Facial hair must be fully grown in at the time of employment starts. Mustaches and beards may not be grown in while working at the mountain, other than during annual vacations, and they must be grown in by your first day back at work.
- Visible body piercing or tattoos do not contribute to the image that we are trying to project. Ear pierces are ok, as long as ear rings are small, neat and tidy and do not interfere with your job. Certain jobs require that no ear rings or other jewelry are permitted, and these regulations must be followed.
- All other policies will be addressed at your company orientation.
