Living in Golden
The Town of Golden is located only 20 minutes from the Resort and offers several options for accommodation. We recommend the local newspaper, The Golden Star, for rental and property listings. There is high demand for local accommodation in December, so it is suggested that housing be secured early. More information about renting in British Columbia is found at Residential Tenancy BC.
At present, there is no public or private shuttle offered to make your way to and from the resort. We strongly encourage our staff to car pool and there is a local spot at the corner of Kicking Horse Trail and 9th St N. where you can hitch a ride from traffic heading up to the resort. Having your own method of transportation is ideal, but not necessary.
