Kicking Horse & Fernie get slammed with huge holiday snowfall

British Columbia, Canada – Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and Fernie Alpine Resort are serving up some of the best
Skiing and Riding in Canada (North America!!) right now. Deep in the heart of the famed Powder Highway, these two
well-known British Columbian ski destination resorts have Big Snow. In fact over the Holiday period in one week over 70
cm fell at both resorts.

Continued snowfall is expected for the next week as more storms track in from the Pacific Ocean during this epic La Niña
weather cycle. “Looking at reports from other regions in North America it seems that La Niña has focused all of its snow
on Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and Fernie Alpine Resort”, says Matt Mosteller. “Skiers seeking snow better beat a
trail to ski here this winter!” added Mosteller. Snow is piling up this ski season with over 13 feet of total snowfall at
Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and over 9 feet at Fernie Alpine Resort!

Not only Big Snow, but Big Terrain and Big Vertical to boot, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort has one of North America’s
biggest vertical and Fernie Alpine Resort with the NEW Polar Peak lift will have the biggest vertical in the Canadian
