Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Press Release
Gondola Access Hiking & Sightseeing

June 18, 2012 Golden, BC – This summer, take a Gondola Ride at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, not only are you practically guaranteed to see Boo the Bear, you also have access to hiking at 7,700 feet! Soak up endless mountain vista and venture forth into a hike anywhere from 20-30 minutes Easy Hikes to 1-6 hour Difficult Hikes.

This summer, due to the huge snow fall Kicking Horse received during the 2011.2012 Ski Season, hiking will begin mid-July. Kicking Horse recommends the ridgeline trails for hiking, as they provide the most stunning scenery and allow the hiker to adjust the distance and time it takes for a return trip. For those who want to be amazed by the difference between summer and winter at the resort, the Bowl Over Loop is recommended as it accesses the heart of Bowl Over (only accessible to hikers!)
