Kicking Horse Kids Zone offers a new world of learning and adventure, all wrapped up into one. Our nurturing staff spends their day with your young ones giving them an experience that is unforgettable! Kicking Horse Mountain Resort also offers childcare for ages 18 months to 5 years of age.

 

Kids Private Clinics – Ages 3-12 - Half or full day
Give your child the individual attention he or she needs to experience success! These clinics cater to all abilities.

 

Ski Care – Ages 3-5 - Half or full day
Ski and Ride care is a program designed for the newest skiers and riders. We take pride in making sure that at the end of the day, the kids love the mountain experience. The on- snow lesson is only part of this program. The goal is having fun and being safe!

 

Adventure Club - Ages 6 – 12, half, full and multi-day
You children will be well taken care of while they are skiing with kids of the same ability, evolving their skiing, learning about our mountain and having fun, safe memorable experiences. Be prepared for great stories to tell at the end of the day!

Full day packages and instruction includes a healthy lunch from the Whitetooth Grill in the Day Lodge with an instructor.

 

Wild Riders - Ages 13-16
This program will give teens a chance to experience the freedom of discovering the entire mountain with new friends.  Our enthusiastic pros will ensure great group dynamics and for every level of skier and snowboarder.  Our supervised lunches (full day programs) provide teens with a great spot to rest and refuel.

Seasonal Programs and Camps 08/09

Book now for our local programs for kids!! Catered to locals from Golden and Kicking Horse Mountain Home Owners alike, these lessons kids are a wealth of enjoyment for all. Parents get to see their kids’ skills evolve weekly and get some time to ski for themselves. The kids gain independence and confidence with our competent and professional instructors. Start date for programs are: January 3rd and 4th.

 

Golden Tots – Ages 3-5 - Weekly half-day program
Over the course of 6 or 12 weeks, children evolve and grow in their skills, gain new friendships as they venture around the mountain. Every week there are more successes as a group!

 

Golden Kids Club – Ages 5 – 11 - Weekly full-day program
Children of all abilities can join in for plenty of fun, lots of mileage and some exciting break-through on snow. Have your children experience a healthy and rewarding winter activity this season!

Lunchtime will be supervised by the instructor at 11:30am in the Day Lodge.

 

Kicking Horse Freeride Connection – Ages 8-15 - Weekly full-day program
Kids – leave your parents in the parking lot and jump into the adventure! Get out on the mountain and shred some great lines with tips and tricks from our Big Mountain Centre coaches. You’ll love the all day excitement and challenge!

Lunchtime will be supervised by the instructor at 11:30am in the Day Lodge.
