Golden, BC – Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is excited to have a completely redesigned TELUS daycare facility located directly in the Plaza, right next door to the Mountain School Desk and steps away from the on hill learning centre. The new TELUS daycare features a modern open concept to accommodate multiple activities.
Offering childcare services for ages 18 months to 6 years of age and an option for daycare with lessons – the TELUS Kicking Horse Kids Club provides children with a safe, nurturing, fun environment for them to learn and grow as individuals.

Calgary International Airport Shuttle for 2013/14 Winter Season
A shuttle from the Calgary International Airport to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort will be in effect for the 2013/14 winter season and will be operated by Revelstoke Mountain Transfers and Tours (RMTT). RMTT will operate a 56 passenger coach equipped with washroom, DVD player and 5 monitor video displays. The shuttle will operate daily, four times per week: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Revelstoke Mountain and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort are working together on this service in order to provide a better guarantee, an option for dual mountain experience, as well as to do our part for environmental commitments.
The shuttle will drop guests off at the Husky Station in downtown Golden, BC. For FIT guests going up to the mountain, they can complete their journey via taxi. Please contact: Mount 7 Taxi: (250) 344-5237. Estimated flat rate is $50, does not include tax and is subject to change.

Rah Rah
Rah Rah was named “Best Alternative New Artist” and “Best New Canadian Artist” in iTunes Best of 2009 list. Rah Rah headlined the Whistler Live! stage during the 2010 Paralympic Games and performed at the Saskatchewan Pavilion. The group has been noted for their energetic live shows which often feature Pop Rocks candy[5] and confetti.
In 2012 the group signed with Montreal’s Hidden Pony Records. The band released their third LP “The Poet’s Dead” in 2012 on Hidden Poney.[6]
The band has performed with such notable acts as Wintersleep, Mother Mother, Plants and Animals, Said the Whale, Bedouin Soundclash, Library Voices, Minus The Bear and DD/MM/YYYY.
Two Hours Traffic

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Pending Sale to Resorts of the Canadian Rockies
December 16th 2011, Golden, BC: Calgary-based, Resorts of the Canadian Rockies have entered into discussions to potentially acquire Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, based in Golden, B.C. Subject to certain regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
“Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is currently in the 11th year of operations and has quickly established itself as one of the premier destination resort brands in the North American ski market. The possible inclusion of the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort brand within the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies family is a strong, strategic fit and establishes a great platform for the future of the resort, ” notes Kicking Horse Mountain Resort President and CEO, Steve Paccagnan.
Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is the first, four-season resort to open in the Rockies in over 25 years and is one of the only ski resorts in Canada that has had continuous growth in recent years. The resort recently obtained Provincial approval of a 40 –year Master Plan which calls for a world class, destination mountain resort with an expanded controlled recreation area, 20,000 bed units, an 18-hole signature golf course, a multi-use trail system with two proposed lifts and 4,188 acres of skiable terrain.
