2024 Sunsplash Funkfest | Dummy Downhill & Slush Cup

Let’s get wet and wild and bring the season to an end with a splash at the 2024 Sunsplash Funkfest!

Dummy Downhill | Saturday, April 13

The Dummy Downhill concept is extremely simple. Build something that can slide down the slopes over a jump and please the crowd with a massive crash.  A celebration of fine construction and total destruction!  Prizes will be awarded for best run 1-3^rd  and best looking.

We will begin sending the sleds down at 12:30pm!

 Registration is $20 with all money raised going to the Golden Food Bank!

Slush Cup | Sunday, April 14

On Sunday, get ready to challenge the slush pool! The Slush Cup is a true test for well-seasoned springtime skiers and snowboarders. Get dressed in a tasteful costume and see if you can make it over our 75-foot pond of freezing water. Prizes will be awarded for best male, female, youth, best crash and more!

The first brave soul will be taking on the slush pool at 12:30pm!

 Registration is $15 with all money raised going to the GADSAR. GADSAR is our amazing local Search & Rescue team who will also be in the pool to ensure everyone makes it out safe!

Please note there is a maximum of 100 participants. All participants must have a Special Event waiver completed online. The minimum age is 8yrs old and must have Special Event and Parental Consent Waiver completed. Please register at Guest Services.

After Party with Shred Kelly Presented by Corona

Emerging from the majestic landscapes of the Canadian Rockies, Shred Kelly is a powerhouse band that seamlessly blends elements of alternative, folk, and rock music.
