Alphorn in the Alpine

Hear the sounds of the Alphorn from the top of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort!

Daryl Caswell, the principal horn of the Red Deer Orchestra, will be playing his Alpenhorn up in the alpine throughout the day.

SCHEDULE

11am – Search for the perfect echo.  Join Daryl as he hikes into bowl over looking for the perfect echo for his horn.  Making plenty of stops to answer questions, allow people to try the horn, and perform. 1.5hrs

1pm – Sounds of the Valley. Stand along the top of Crystal bowl and listen to a performance showing how far the sound of the alp horn can travel.  It will be best heard from the Helicopter pad. 20min

3pm – Performance in the Plaza– Catch a quick 20minute performance between the hotels in the plaza as Daryl plays one last time in the day. 20min
