Alphorn Mountain Top Performance

Hear the sounds of the Alphorn from the top of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort!

Daryl Caswell, the principal horn of the Red Deer Orchestra, will be playing his Alpenhorn throughout the day.

Along with him there will be a booth for the non-profit organization Saving Swiss Edelweiss Village updating guests about their work to save Golden’s Swiss Village. Edelweiss Village represents one of the iconic birthplaces of Western Canada’s mountaineering history. The swiss village became the home of  iconic mountaineering guides such as the Feuz brothers and remains an important part of Golden’s history.
