Golden, BC – Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is excited to open their doors to summer operations officially on Friday June 28th this summer, with a special preview weekend on June 22nd/23rd. Summer at Kicking Horse includes Mountain Biking at one of the most popular Bike Parks in the Rockies region, Dining Mountain Top at the Eagle’s Eye Restaurant, Hikes and Sightseeing, plus it’s the best place to spot Boo, the resident Grizzly Bear!
Kicking Horse Bike Park – People don’t come to Kicking Horse Bike Park to ride the same old thing, they come for the differences and we have plenty meaning 1200 metres (4000 ft) of stupendous variety! The start of it is the view from the alpine launch which is dominated by the three mountain ranges that surround the park, and the most variety of trails in the Canadian Rockies region.

Boo, Grizzly Bear Refuge – Kicking Horse is home to the world’s largest enclosed grizzly bear habitat, where the resident orphan grizzly bear Boo lives and plays. Take this one of a kind opportunity with the interpretive tour and view Boo in his habitat!
