WINTER OPERATIONS

Additional Policies & Procedures

Updated November 12th, 2021

Important Information

The current Government of British Columbia health orders can be found at: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/vaccine/proof

Following the advice provided by the Provincial Government Health Authorities across our resorts operating in three jurisdictions (British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec), RCR has decided to require proof of full COVID-19 Immunization Record to access all lifts (chair lifts, gondolas & magic carpets) and indoor facilities at our resorts this winter. This decision has been made with the goal of providing you, our guests, our staff, and our resort communities with the safest environment possible.

At this point, we all understand there will be some necessary adjustments to how our operations will be run this season. Directional and distancing signage will be placed around the resort, as well as plexiglass and other barriers.

Face Coverings

Face coverings are mandatory in all areas where guests congregate, including; on lifts, in lift lines, and all buildings and outlets. Please note that we will not facilitate or consider any exemptions. We ask that you choose or make your mask based on Government of Canada guidelines, which can be found by following the link below.

Insider Tip: bring two masks with you to the ski hill, one tends to get cold and snowy, and you could keep a second mask in your pocket for when you want to be warm indoors.

Health Screening

Each person that wishes to be at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort will be required to answer questions recommended by the B.C. government to maintain the overall safety of the resort property. Including all our staff and guests. For the health and safety of guests and staff, please do not visit if any of the following apply:

  • Live in a household with someone with COVID-19, symptoms of COVID-19 or who is self-isolating due to possible exposure to COVID-19.

If you do not wish to participate or adhere to the above mentioned safety measures, please do not visit our resorts.
