Boo’s Birthday Weekend

Boo's Birthday Weekend is an event put on by the Grizzly Bear Refuge at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.

EVENT DETAILS

Featuring enhanced ranger tours and a scavenger hunt all with the goal of educating visitors about grizzly bears. There will be a birthday cake for boo, a scavenger hunt and an special 10am Ranger talk all at the Grizzly Bear Refuge!

Schedule: (subject to change)

Saturday:

10am - Enhanced tour (pinata for boo)

11am-12pm - Scavenger hunt (help Boo have his perfect birthday)

12:30 - Enhanced tour (bear spray safety demonstration)

1:30-2:30 - Art contest (paint a birthday card for boo with prizes for the winners)

2:30 - Enhanced tour (bearthday cake - baked carrot cake)

Sunday:

10am - Enhanced tour (cow hide)

11am-12pm - Scavenger hunt (help Boo have his perfect birthday)

12:30 - Enhanced tour (bear spray safety demonstration)

1:30-2:30 - Art contest (paint a birthday card for boo with prizes for the winners)

2:30 - Enhanced tour (bearthday cake - supsicle cake)
