Kicking Horse is excited to host the summer edition of Community Day, offering a day of sightseeing/riding to the local community.

EVENT DETAILS

A summer solstice kick off for the mountain communities of Golden and Area A, as well as Canmore to Field, Brisco to Canal Flats, and Revelstoke – we will be providing residents lift tickets by donation on Sunday June 21 to come on up and visit Boo, hike the alpine or hit the bike park.

  • Adventure Pass Ticket - $5 minimum donation for individuals, $10 minimum donation for families (2 adults and up to 4 dependent children)
  • Mountain Bike Ticket - $10 minimum donation for individuals, $20 minimum donation for families (2 adults and up to 4 dependent children)
  • Proceeds from lift ticket sales will be donated to Golden Family Centre and Golden Cycling Club
  • More Special Offers for Community Day
    • 20% off rentals
    • 10% off everything at the retail store
    • $20 Cheeseburger and Beer Combo available at the Corona Alpine Patio
  •  Events
    • Be sure to check out Live'N'Local music series from 12pm to 2pm at the Corona Alpine Patio
    • MTB Rodeo - bring your bikes and join in some fun events throughout the day
      • Pump Track Race – 11:00am–11:30am
Fun races on our pump track just for kids!

      • Barrel Racing – 12:00pm–12:45pm
Inspired by the classic horse event, but on two wheels! Test your speed and bike handling skills as you race around a set course marked with barrels. The goal is simple: get around the course and back in the fastest time possible to score a prize.
      • Foot Down (Circle of Death) – 1:00pm
Winner takes all in this balance‑and‑skill showdown. Riders circle around our pit, trying to stay upright without putting a foot down. If you touch the ground, you’re out—and your bike stays in as an obstacle for everyone else. Last rider standing wins!

        Helmets required.

By Donation Lift Tickets and Special Offers are available to residents of Golden and Area A, as well as Canmore to Field, Brisco to Canal Flats, and Revelstoke! (proof of residency required).
