The weekend will begin on Saturday with the Dummy Downhill which will have teams of create ridiculous contraptions to launch off at the base with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3^{rd place}. Registration is FREE

On Sunday we fill the pool for a Slush Cup competition prizes for best male, female, youth, fall and others. All money goes to GADSAR (Golden and District Search and Rescue) who will be in the pool helping retrieve you. Registration is open for 100 people and costs $20 for the Slush Cup and registration will be open the week before.

To close it all off there will be a patio party from 3-5pm at the Whitetooth Grill presented by Corona, with live music with Curtis Butala. Live N Local Apres

Dummy Downhill | Saturday, April 11

The Dummy Downhill concept is extremely simple. Build something that can slide down the slopes over a jump and please the crowd with a massive crash.  A celebration of fine construction and total destruction!  Prizes will be awarded for best run 1st, 2nd and 3^{rd place}  and best looking.

Event Day Details:

• All dummies will be on display by the Trail Map at the base (next to the gondola).

• At 12:00 PM, we’ll begin transporting the dummies up the hill.

• The action starts at 12:30 PM, when we begin launching!

Important: A team member must be present at the launch area to release their dummy.

Slush Cup | Sunday, April 12 - NOW SOLD OUT

On Sunday, get ready to challenge the slush pool! The Slush Cup is a true test for well-seasoned springtime skiers and snowboarders. Get dressed in a tasteful costume and see if you can make it over our 75-foot pond of freezing water. Prizes will be awarded for best male, female, youth, best crash and more!

The first brave soul will be taking on the slush pool at 12:30pm!

 Registration is $20 with all money raised going to the GADSAR – GADSAR is our amazing local Search & Rescue team who will also be in the pool to ensure everyone makes it out safe!

Please note there is a maximum of 100 participants. All participants must have a Special Event waiver completed online. The minimum age is 8yrs old and must have Special Event and Parental Consent Waiver completed. Helmets are mandatory. No ski poles permitted. Inverts and flips are prohibited.
