MOUNTAIN BIKE LESSONS

All Kicking Horse Mountain Resort instructors are PMBI certified, and here to provide a safe environment to teach you the proper techniques to enhance your mountain biking experience. Whether you need a skills tune up or have never gone Downhill Biking before, our world class terrain along with our skilled instructors is the perfect combination to allow you to progress.

Build confidence, get better and have more fun. Learn to ride the Horse with a 2 HOUR LESSON. Our lessons are designed to improve skill, body position, balance, braking and cornering. Learn to rail berms, scope hits, etc. A 4 HOUR LESSON and custom-built options are available upon request.

PRIVATE LESSON

Private lessons provide the ultimate learning environment. Personal, focused tuition on your specific needs will allow you to progress and ride much further, in a shorter space of time.

For riders levels 1 - 4

Half Day Lesson: $249 (for up to 3 people) *Additional person $60 each*

Full Day Lesson: $369 (for up to 3 people) *Additional person $95 each*

+ applicable taxes, max 5 participants.

HALF DAY LESSON WITH LIFT AND RENTAL

Half Day Package: Includes 2 hour lesson, Full Day Mountain Bike Lift Ticket, and Full Day Bike Rental Package.

For riders levels 2 - 4

Ages 13+ - 1 person - $389 *Additional person $249 each*

Ages 6 - 12 - 1 person - $309 *Additional person $119 each*

+ applicable taxes, max 5 participants.

FULL DAY LESSON WITH LIFT AND RENTAL

Full Day Package: Includes 5 hour lesson, Full Day Mountain Bike Lift Ticket, and Full Day Bike Rental Package.

MEL

Hi I’m Mel! I’ve been riding for 6 years between Washington State and BC. I really love being able to share my passion for mountain biking and empowering people to feel more confident on the trails. If you’re a newer rider, looking to gain confidence, or are excited to try mountain biking for the first time I can help you feel comfortable and strong on the bike.

PHIL

My name is Phil, I'm a bike instructor this summer at the resort and would love sharing my passion for biking with you!

You can see me on my bike most of the time, at the resort or all-around Golden.

During a lesson, I'll guide you around the resort, give you tips to improve your confidence and have fun biking!

I can also offer lessons in French.

Let's go outside and enjoy the beauty of the trails and mountain!
