Applications are usually evaluated within 5-7 business days but may take longer. During this time, please do not call or email to ask about the status of your application. We process applications as they come in and the more emails and calls we receive, the longer it takes to process your application.

Locals Application and approval processes are independent of Sale rates. Completing your application within a Sale window does not guarantee Sale rate, only pass purchase does. Please ensure you allow enough time to receive application approval and complete your pass purchase in time for the desired sale deadline. For example, completing your Local's Application on the last day of the Early Bird sale does not guarantee approval in time for Early Bird rate deadline.

Upon submission, you will receive a series of emails noted below. Please use an email address you have full access to. If you are unable to verify your email address, we are unable to approve your application.

• Confirming the receipt of your application.
• After your application has been evaluated, you will receive an Approval or Rejection email.

For each winter season pass purchased, that individual must apply for a Locals Account. However, dependents living in the same household as the applicant can be purchased together.

For those who do not wish to purchase this pass online, in person purchasing will be available at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Guest Services.  Please bring your required documents and check Guest Service Hours before visiting.

Examples:

1. Two Adult Passes cannot be purchased together. Each adult must apply for a Locals Account separately.
2. One Adult Pass, and one Youth Pass. The adult can order their pass, and their dependents pass on the same account.
3. One Family Pass. The applicant can purchase one Family Pass with their partner and dependents on the same account.
