Jeep Junior Freeride Series
Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is IFSA Junior NATIONAL stop to the series, hosting the Jeep Junior Freeride Series on January 11-14 Presented by Rossignol, Smith Optics and Helly Hansen.
This event provides the opportunity for youth between the ages of 12 and 18 to develop and showcase their skiing and riding skills in a fun and supportive environment. The Jeep Junior Freeride Series is the only one of its kind in Canada and part of Resort of the Canadian Rockies (RCR) ongoing commitment to providing active and healthy pursuits for youth.
Check out the next generation of freeriders! Competitors will display their skills on natural terrain while being judged on 5 categories – Line Choice, Control, Fluidity, Technique and Style/Energy.

EVENT UPDATE – Sat Jan 13
Well, mother nature won the battle today. After what looked like a favourable forecast for today in the end the temperatures just did not rise as much as was needed to safely operate. We therefore made the decision to not open any lifts for the day. We are expecting to be open as regularly scheduled for tomorrow Sunday January 14. Thank you all for your patience.
we will be moving ahead with the event schedule as follows – Sunday Jan 14 – All Categories with 2 Judges panels in T1 South/Super Bowl. Please see the updated schedule for more details. We will have a warming tent set up at the finish area, as well as provide a staging area in the foyer of Eagle’s Eye Restaurant and a warming tent at the base of the T1 hike. This will be discussed further at tomorrow morning’s meeting.

| This event is part of the IFSA National Competition Series. IFSA membership is needed to enter the series, competitors will have their results count towards IFSA ranking must have a valid 23-24 IFSA membership. Memberships can be purchased on the IFSA website www.freeskiers.org.

Waivers
All athletes must complete the online RCR Event Release Agreement(s) prior to completing registration this year.
- Competitors 16yrs and older must complete the RCR Event Agreement. The competitor can complete this waiver.
- Competitors 15 yrs and younger must complete BOTH the RCR Event Agreement AND the RCR Parental Agreement. The competitor’s parent or legal guardian must complete these two agreements.
Once complete, you will receive a unique “Agreement ID” for each waiver you fill out. Please save the code(s), as you will need to enter the code(s) during the registration process below.

Lift Tickets
- Competitors and coaches receive a 20% discount on lift tickets. Discount vouchers will be given out at check-in with athlete packages.
- All competitors can receive up to two (2) discount vouchers for their family members.
