Due to the overwhelming number of requests that we receive, we have a set of guidelines that will make the request process easier:
SUMMIT FUND - CASH DONATIONS FOR COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS
The Kicking Horse Mountain Resort/Golden Community Summit Fund is an initiative that is helping to transform the local Golden community. The Kicking Horse Mountain Resort/Golden Community Summit Fund is a 4-year, $100,000 initiative that provides cash donations and in-kind support to local community causes. The NEW Kicking Horse Mountain Resort/Golden Community Summit Fund’s goal is to support programs in the Golden area which advance the widest-ranging community improvements in such areas as arts and culture, health and social services, heritage preservations, community facilities and programs, education, sports and recreation.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The goal of the Summit Fund is to provide donations to a wide variety of local causes that provide a positive long-term impact on a wide variety of people.
The Community Summit Fund committee considers the following:
- Does the Project directly relate to the mandate of the Community Summit Fund?
- Is the Project local in scope, or does it provide a direct local benefit?
- Can the outcomes of the Project be measured?
We accept applications year-round. As our review process takes some time, please ensure you have applied at least two to three months before your event or donation deadline.
