What's new this winter at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort?
Getting to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort just got easier. We are pleased to be offering a new transportation option through the addition of a new shuttle service connecting Calgary International Airport to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort twice a week. Please note that fare is one way, per person, before tax. Times are subject to weather and road conditions.
Service will run Wednesday and Saturday from December 21, 2016 to March 26, 2017.
Itinerary & Highlights:
Bus pick up from Banff hotels and in Lake Louise. We’ll drive through Banff and Yoho National Parks to reach Kicking Horse in time for an early gondola ride to the top. Enjoy a full day at Kicking Horse before we return to Banff.
The closest international airport to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is the Calgary International Airport, a 2.5-hour drive from Golden along the scenic Trans Canada Highway. It provides multiple daily commercial flights to and from most regional, national and international destinations.
The Canadian Rockies International Airport – located in Cranbrook, British Columbia – is 2.5 hours south of Golden via Highway 95 through the heart of the Kootenay Rockies. Vancouver International Airport and the Kamloops Airport are west of Golden, located nine and five hours away respectively.

For short term visits to Canada you will need a valid passport. Persons under 18 years traveling without their parents should have identification and a letter of authorization from a parent or guardian to travel into Canada.
For citizens of certain countries Canada requires a visitors visa to be obtained from their nearest Canadian Consulate before entry into Canada, please check if this is required before your trip.
