Depending on the weather, visibility and snow conditions on a given day, guests will enjoy anything from open bowls and glaciated runs to subalpine, glades, trees and cutblocks. A single run can take you through all of the above.
There are six guests in the group, plus two certified guides, with their own private helicopter.
Heli-ski guests meet at Purcell's day lodge and heli-plex at 438 Lafontaine Road at 8:00am for orientation and safety training.
One-day packages include 4000 metres, two-day includes 9000 metres, and the three-day includes 15,000 metres.
If heavy fog, high winds or extreme conditions keep you from achieving your guaranteed vertical, you will receive a full or partial refund depending on your package length.
Your safety is our number one priority. Guides are highly trained, experienced, and ACMG certified. Heli-ski pilots are some of the most experienced in the industry, and are very familiar with mountain flying in winter conditions. All guests receive a thorough but concise safety briefing before heli-skiing, so they feel informed and confident in their surroundings.
If you’re thinking about February or March, you should reserve NOW! Seats often book out months in advance. Current availability is published on the Purcell Heli-Skiing Website.
